Our home is located 2 minutes off the 99 freeway in the College Area of Modesto, which is known for its beautiful homes and proximity to Modesto Junior College (established in 1921 and the first community college to erect a junior college classroom in the state of California). It is minutes from downtown which has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife available, as well as the Gallo Center for the Arts, which hosts cultural activities throughout the year. It is three blocks from Doctors Medical Center and a seven minute drive to Memorial Hospital. The 99 freeway allows visitors to reach Turlock in about 15 minutes, Tracy/Stockton in around 30. San Francisco is less than two hours away for those who enjoy the city, and Yosemite National Park is two and a half hours away for those who enjoy the outdoors. The space is equipped with central heat and air, blazing fast WIFI download capabilities, and three large Smart TVs for all of your viewing needs. There is a new washer and dryer (we supply detergent and fabric softener), large indoor and outdoor dining tables, plenty of comfortable seating and local art throughout the home. Families, solo travelers and groups traveling for business will find this home more than comfortable. The entire space is available for guests to use! La Loma park is a paved trail that's ideal for walks, runs, or bike rides (we include a couple of adult-sized beach cruisers!) and it's located directly behind the home. There's also a park on the trail that's great for kids. You will need a car or the uber app to get around Safety of our guests and colleagues is one of our top priorities. Rest assured the home is sanitized and completely cleaned and disinfected between all guests. We are not a pet-friendly home, and there is a violation fee for this rule. If you fail to notify us of their presence in writing prior to check-in there will be an automatic charge of $500 The home has original wood floors from 1965. Please be careful about dropping objects, as it damages and chips easily and has been preserved for almost sixty years. Trash is on Monday mornings so please take the cans to the street on Sunday evening. We have a portable pack and play and high chair available upon request if you are traveling with little ones. Our property also comes with a stocked coffee (Keurig) and tea bar. The home is next to a creek so please absolutely no pets and watch children when playing outside. We also recommend watching children on the deck as the home is 20 feet above ground. VERY IMPORTANT! Every window in this property opens! WATCH YOUR CHILDREN as we do not want them to open a window without adult supervision. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY WINDOWS OPEN. Although the home is located close to major areas of town, it is also the last property before a natural creek, and nature will get into the home. This can range from leaves and bugs to birds bats and spiderwebs. Please keep windows closed so you don’t have any uninvited guests.
